Community Help With Table Tennis

To: Interested Sports Lovers,

Are you a parent or someone who has played table tennis for fun or just interested in sport with sufficient enthusiasm to help a school start up a table tennis club?

The reason for this question is that certain schools in the county have been visited and taken part in "An introduction to table tennis" sessions from which much enjoyment and interest has arisen but the follow up to such an exercise is the help needed to continue with the interest shown by the pupils.

At this point I feel sure that you are wondering as to how this can be achieved, especially if that you do not know much or nothing about table tennis and you may not think you are qualified to carry out such an exercise - have no fear because all we expect is that you have actually "held" a bat (or seen one) and therefore you would be given expert guidance and help to proceed in a suitable manner and at no time would you be expected to "slog it out" on your own at this early stage.

So remember - this is the time that you can be involved in one of the most popular sports in the country and more especially contribute to a school's lack of help that they so desperately need to keep sport at the forefront of education.
